Southwest Texas:
The Eagle Ford Escondido Lean Gas Gathering System
and
the Cuervo Creek Rich Gas Gathering System
The Eagle Ford shale covers more than 10 million acres and stretches from the Mexican border along the Gulf Coast toward Louisiana. As activity in the Eagle Ford continues to increase our focus is on providing producers with strategic infrastructure that builds value.
Meritage Midstream designed the Eagle Ford Escondido Gathering System (EEG) and the Cuervo Creek Gathering System (CCG) to provide producers with the ability to get both lean and rich gas to market quickly and efficiently. We recognize that producers need flexibility in their downstream markets to maximize the value of their gas through access to capacity and directional options. We work with some of the most experienced and well respected producers in the area to provide rapid and reliable access to multiple markets.
EEG serves multiple producers working in dry gas windows with more than 100 miles of high-pressure gathering lines with a capacity of 210 MMcf/d and 145 MMcf/d in treating capacity at the EEG facility near Laredo. Expansions underway now will add an additional 15 miles of high pressure line and increase capacity to 250 MMcf/d. We look forward to expand treating capacity as volumes gathering systems increase. The Cuervo Creek Gathering System will cover more than 1,300 square miles from Encinal south to Laredo. The 60-mile sysem will include multiple downstream interconnects for moving rich gas out of the multizone developments taking place in the region. The 16" pipeline will have an initial capacity of 150 MMCf/d.
Together, EEG and CCG offer 200 miles of gathering line with treating capacity, condensate and liquids handling, processing options, directional options and multiple interconnects including Kinder Morgan, Enterprise, DCP, Webb Duvall, Conoco Lobo and Southcross.
